Visual Matrix Introduces
the MiniXBox SDXC The Affordable yet Full Featured Standard
Definition Standards Converter Las Vegas, NV - NAB2001 April 23, 2001 – Visual Matrix introduces the MiniXBox
SDXC the first affordable yet full-featured Standards Converter for
the video industry. The
MiniXBox SDXC provides many of the same features found in other Standards
Converters at a fraction of the price. Standard features include real
time 4:3, 16:9 and anamorphic stretch aspect ratio controls, complete
zoom control, advanced filters and digital HDTV outputs in all the popular
formats. The
SDXC's high image quality is achieved via proprietary conversion technology
that evaluates the video source characteristics and selects the appropriate
filter and conversion algorithms. Separate horizontal and vertical filters
provide an extra level of control for the elimination of flicker, alias
and Moiré patterns. The MiniXBox
includes a color bar pattern generator with over 10 color bar patterns. The
SDXC is housed in a compact 2U chassis. The front panel has a four line
LCD display that provides access to all of the SDXC's functions. The SDXC can accept the standard definition digital input formats
including 525, 625 and off-speed PAL.
The SDXC will output the standard definition digital formats
including 525, 625 and off-speed PAL.
